Flamingo Lake Resort Kataragama

Our stay at the hotel was pretty good. The location is the main highlight, right by a beautiful lake and surrounded by nature—it was incredibly peaceful. The service was brilliant; the staff were attentive and genuinely seemed to care about making our stay comfortable. And the food was absolutely amazing, a true standout with every meal being a culinary delight. The only downside was the rooms, which were just okay. While clean, they felt a bit dated and could use some updates and a bit more attention to detail to match the rest of the hotel's high standards. Overall, it's a great spot for a relaxing getaway, especially if you appreciate great food and service

Not recommended. We visit that place on 23rd if August.We booked the hotel for 2 nights. When we went there, we were shocked when they said they would give us a room in the luxury category. The rooms were not clean. When we told them that there was dust, the room boy came to talk to us urgently. Only when we showed him the dust did he calm down. The bedsheets smelled. They were torn. The washroom was not clean. The quality was not as good as in the google and fb images. Only 1 of the 4 lights in the room worked. When I told the manager, he said not to post reviews and would refund the total amount. 13,000/= was informed to the top management that we left because of the chlorine smell in the bedsheets. That is a lie. Now they have blocked us and are talking to us urgently. The environment is good. The rooms are not good for the price and the luxury category. We booked for 2 days and did not cancel. We left because of their problem. We did not stay even for an hour. Customer caring 0. Never recommend ed.

🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳 Flamingo Lake Resort was a wonderful stop on our family's Sri Lanka adventure.We arrived quite late after a long drive, but the staff were very welcoming. Our room was perfect clean, comfortable, and just what we needed after an tiring day. While we had dinner outside, the next morning's breakfast at the hotel was excellent. What really stood out was the kindness and helpfulness of all the staff. They made our stay truly enjoyable. We highly recommend Flamingo Lake Resort for a relaxing and comfortable experience.

I came to the flamingo lake resort for a 1 night It is a really beautiful place with a peaceful environment, surrounded by nature. The rooms here are very clean and comfortable. The food is also very delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The service is very good. and they have yala safari service as well. so I went to yala and I got everlasting memories there. I will definitely come back.... thanks for everything and special thanks to mr chaminda manager.

You will feel as your home ! What a great catch in weerawila Sri Lanka. Flamingo Lake Resort. love fish platter was so tasty mix with lime…it absolutely delicious…. highly recommend here… if you’re planning to go kataragama temple with your family here is the perfect place for your family. good ❤️
