Village Life Mihinthale

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Village Life Mihinthale. The location is breathtaking, and the hospitality provided by the young man truly heartwarming. The food was the highlight—delicious, authentic Sri Lankan home cooking that was simply incredible. Thank you for a beautiful and memorable experience!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, new, and very clean accommodation. It's located in a peaceful garden setting, perfect for relaxing. Nearby, there’s a lovely lake where you can enjoy stunning sunsets. The place is run by a truly kind and caring couple and there son who made us feel right at home. The food was more expensive than eating out elsewhere, but it was freshly prepared and lovingly served in the garden – a real highlight of our stay. We can wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation and would gladly come back anytime.

As close to perfect as you can ever get, absolutely loved our stay 💜 the kindest family (mama will cook you the tastiest food!), the building is spotless and sooo comfortable. Really appreciated the peaceful setting to rest. Watching mongoose having breakfast was so fun! All for a fantastic price- don’t hesitate to book.

A truly lovely homestay experience! We had such a great stay here. The family running the place are incredibly kind and generous — really good-hearted people who made us feel welcome from the very beginning. The food was very, very, very delicious — and unbelievably cheap for the quality and portion sizes. Honestly some of the best meals we had during our time in Sri Lanka. They even kept an eye on our tuk-tuk, which was a thoughtful touch. The communication was easy and smooth, and we had absolutely no issues during our stay. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a peaceful, authentic, and affordable place to stay with genuinely kind hosts, this is it. Highly recommended!
