a week agoGreat surf school – from the very first steps to improving your technique. Hasa is an amazing instructor who spreads enthusiasm and teaches really well. Unfortunately, a back injury kept me from taking more lessons, but it’s a good reason to come back.

5 months agoWhat an amazing experience! Finally I found a great teacher in Sri Lanka that managed to fix my mistakes in order for me to catch waves easily with a better technical understanding. I had so much fun surfing with Shan, and everyone else working here is so nice and sweet. Nice boards selection and right beside the beach. Much visit this beautiful place for learning as a beginner or improving your skills. Great knowledge of surfing.

4 months agoWe had fantastic 4 days surf lessons at ride a wave. Guys there where absolutely brilliant and our surfing improved a lot with there help. Very appreciate how seriously they considered safety as well as insuring we had lot of fun out in the water!!!! Hope to have more lessons with them in future and would 110% recommend 👌 thank you Andrea & David

6 months agoWe took 4 day surf sessions with Ride a Wave during out time in Weligama, and it was the most wholesome and exciting time of our life. I had taken few lessons in India and Bali, but this one was one of the most informative session. I learned how to catch wave on my own+ how to move my board. Not just surfing, Leon and Shaan helped us get the best exchange rates for dollars in town🥰 Cannot recommend them enough! They are the best, so book your session with them without any second thoughts. PS: All their surfboards are good quality and in top condition 🫶🏼

in the last weekLots of surf classes available at weligama beach, and still they have very good ratings. As they have good teachers competitive rates , one teaches basic near beach side , one helps beginners in the ocean too. Try doing two days in a row if doing for first time
