Anuradapura Lake Palmyra Resort

Very disappointing stay. The resort is not well managed at all. The staff are not helpful, and the service is poor. The kitchen has no equipment, so you basically need to bring everything from home if you want to prepare Kiri Ahara Pujawa. Hot water also not working. In the morning, there was a power cut, and since they don’t have a generator, we had to suffer in the hot weather, sweating with no relief. The only positive is the pool and the quiet surroundings, but that alone does not make up for such a bad experience.Paid 8,000 for AC room but Ac is not working properly. I would not recommended this resort. This resort is totally different from what is shown in the pictures.

Totally opposite what shown in the pictures. A/ C doesn’t work at all. Dirty wash room and bed sheets. Staff was not helpful , and when complained didn’t even try to solve the problem. Wifi is not working.We book for 2 days and we didn’t even stay for few hours. Didn’t even try to refund fully or partially. Warning don’t recommend to stay here.

Very disappointed with my stay. The room was not clean, the washroom was dirty, and the AC didn’t work. Customer service was unhelpful and unprofessional. Paid Rs. 6000 for an AC room but it was absolutely not worth it. The photos on social media are misleading — the real condition of the hotel is far worse. Would not recommend.

It's a beautiful place right next to the lake. The staff is also friendly and nice. The food at their restaurant is also delicious. It's a beautiful place. You should go and try it.

I had a really disappointing experience at this resort. The food was far below expectations – poorly prepared and lacked flavor. To make things worse, they charged extra money without informing or getting any consent from us, which is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Overall, it was not worth the money or the time. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing or trustworthy stay.
