Dudley nature resort Habarana

Habarana is a great place to stay for several trips within the area. While the main roads in this town are really busy and not really nice to be at, Dudley Nature Resort is a great spot in the middle of the nature while still in 5 minutes walking distance to the hustle and bustle. We stayed in wooden round houses and absolutely enjoyed our time here. Great place to stay for a dew days, and the owner, Mareesha, is the best host you can think of! Arranging trips, drivers or even groceries for you. Absolutely recommend to come here.

Perfect place as base camp to explore the cultural triangle and Minneriya park. Dudley and his team are very friendly and attentive. They helped us organising the different activities that we wanted to do, as well as with the transfer to their place and to our next destination. Food was very good although it is not served everyday. If one wants to eat outside, Habarana downtown is 10 min walk and there are plenty of good restaurants too. Breakfast with Sri Lankan sweets was tasty and huge. Rooms are spacious and clean and the place is very quiet. The swimming pool was good to relax. I would stay here again.

The room was good and the pool area was nice and quiet. It was surrounded by trees - there was lots of wildlife - birds and monkeys that we could see. Walking distance from habarana town which provides lots of choice for food and shops. It's close to main sites and easy enough to get tuk tuks there. Dudley provides a range of dinner options throughout different days - we had the BBQ which was delicious, especially the home made garlic butter and BBQ sauce!

Visited this spot on a whim, and we were delighted by the warm welcome from the team. They not only provided excellent service, but also surprised us with a special discount so appreciated! The atmosphere was inviting, the staff attentive, and the overall experience exceeded expectations. We left feeling valued and will definitely be back. Highly recommended! 👌

Dudley resort is an absolute gem of a hotel in Habarana. Animal lovers will be delighted with visits from monkeys, squirrels and frogs. The pool is a treat to cool down in after sightseeing & there are delicious BBQ’s, cooked by the owner. Dudley, Maleesha & team could not have done enough to help us organise safari trips & Sigiriya & transport within Habarara & to our next locations. We’re a family of 5 & we all had the best time there - we’ll be back, thank you again!
