Me and my husband reached late at night and luckily, the hosts responded to our call unlike others. The hosts are very kind and helpful. They guided us very well. We enjoyed our stay. The place is decent if you roam around in the day and come back to rest at night. The breakfast was quite impressing, made with love. Good experience.

Loved this place and Danosha who runs it. I liked the location though you should be aware it's not in the center of the town, it's up on the hills surrounding the town but I really enjoyed walking up and down to and from there. Great view of the town from there. Breakfast was different every day and was something we very much looked forward to. Room was comfortable and basic. Danosha will help you with planning places to go if you want that. She's a really nice, helpful host, the best host we had in Sri Lanka. Highly recommended.

Our stay was perfect! The owners are super friendly and helped us with everything we needed. It’s also possible to do laundry there, and the food was amazing. We can highly recommend this place!

We had the most wonderful experience staying at the Golden King! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the kindest and nicest hosts we’ve met. They truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The service was impeccable – everything was done with such punctuality and care. The hosts were always attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, offering helpful advice and making us feel like part of their family. And then there’s Teddy – their incredible dog! Teddy is an absolute delight, so friendly and full of character. He made our stay even more special, adding a unique charm to the entire experience. We had a lovely stay at this cozy homestay in Nuwara Eliya. The hosts were incredibly hospitable—welcoming us with delicious masala chai and cookies. They offered to upgrade our room, and the shared lounge area was both grand and inviting. Breakfast was delightful every day, and the sweetest gesture was on our last morning when they thoughtfully packed sandwiches and a variety of breakfast items for our early train ride to Ella. Truly a memorable experience!
