Norton Grange Bungalow – Maskeliya

One of the best places we have ever been. It is beautiful, clean, well maintained, and the staff is very friendly. The food is delicious. The portions are quite generous. The most important thing is that we came here for the view. It is amazing. Also, there was a well maintained pool. I would recommend this place to anyone.

This hotel is surrounded by seven beautiful virgin mountains and the Lakshapana waterfall, making the view truly stunning and peaceful with lots of greenery. The hotel is clean and tidy, and the garden is very well maintained. The upstairs rooms are large, clean, and come with attached bathrooms. However, these rooms don’t have a fridge or hot water kettle, but if you ask, the villa staff will prepare tea for you. There’s a spacious living room with a large TV and speakers. If you bring a mic, you can enjoy karaoke. The sofa and center table setup also makes it a great place to play cards or board games. The meals were really delicious. We shared our menu in advance, and they prepared the food accordingly. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway close to nature!

Spent 2 nights at this wonderful place. It has one of the most beautiful views of Lakshapana waterfalls with Seven Virgins Mountains as the backdrop. There is a small swimming pool where you chill and enjoy the view. The rooms and the living area are very spacious and well maintained. They have enough space to park 3-4 vehicles. I would like to specially mention the hospitality and the services provided by the staff who are very friendly and helpful. They served us very delicious meals. Highly recommend this place for vacations and I would say it's always better to stay 2 nights.

We stayed here for 2 nights. It was an amazing experience with a strong nature vibe. The view of Saptha Kanya (the stunning ridge of seven peaks near Norton Estate) was absolutely scenic. The food was a little salty, but nothing to complain about. the staff were super friendly and helpful. Overall, a peaceful and refreshing stay.

This is a fabulous place with a fantastic view as seen in the photos. The staff maintains the place cleanly and it has all the things to stay and enjoy for a group of around fifteen. We travelled there from Colombo and the route was a bit tough as the route suggested by the hotel was closed on the way. So, better check and finalize the route on the same day as there could be sudden blocks on the road due to bad weather. The bungalow has a nice view of Lakshapana waterfall and it's about 2 km away to go to the top part of the waterfall or to the bottom as you wish. The place has an infinite swimming pool however it's not that big to have a proper swim. The food is great and we need to provide the preferences beforehand. There are four rooms altogether which would occupy fifteen members. We took all the rooms for our team however personally I would not prefer staying on a sharing basis. Overall the stay was so great and we enjoyed it a lot.
